AUTHORS
Mikel Landa, born in 1965 in the Basque Country, first studied architecture and urban planning, a doctorate in the same field and now teaches at the University of Navarra. He is a leading specialist for restoration of historic timber structures; among other things, he headed up a Foundation to maintain the centuries-old salt workss of Añana near Bilbao, laureated with the Europa Nostra Award in 2015, and the origin of Landa's interest for traditional salt production.
Since the 1980s, dedicated to the self-taught and the photography
Luke Duggleby was born in northern England in 1977. After studying photography in the UK, he moved first to China and later to Bangkok, where he has lived for ten years.
His award-winning work has been published in leading media such as National Geographic, New York Times, Forbes and TIME magazine. His book about Tibet was published in 2009 in Italy.
